The Rediscovery of Downtown Newark: Halsey Street

This pass summer I did a lot of street shooting in New York and in towns in New Jersey. I had a wonderful time shooting places that opened my eyes to different forms of happiness and love. But I can never forget where it has all started for me. Newark, my home city, the place that has and still affects me today. Newark may have problems a nation big, but I can’t forget the city that holds some of the biggest hearts that can change a nation. So I took a walk downtown and explored what this city has to offer. In my expedition I discovered Halsey Street. Walking this street gave me a small grin, along with an eye popping shock that could only be described as refreshing. I feel its best for me to show you what I discovered rather then tell you.
